The Ultimate Guide to Organizing your Paper Crafting Supplies

Paper, Stamps, and Dies, oh my! With all the beautiful patterns, colorful inks, and whimsical stamps, it can be hard to resist growing your collection. But with any collection of paper crafting supplies comes the challenge of how to keep it all organized. So, what is the best way to keep your supplies organized and functional? We have the ultimate guide to organizing all your paper crafting supplies.

Stamps & Dies Storage

Stamps and dies are a necessary tool for any card maker. They come in florals, characters, seasonal kits, sentiments, and more. You can find a set to match any occasion. If you have a lot of stamps and dies but not a good way to store and organize them, it's easy to forget about what you do have and your stamps often become unused.

Acrylic Crate - Large

A favorite way of ours to store stamps and dies is the Acrylic Crate Large with Magnet Cards. The Crate is a great size to set on a shelf or desk, and the magnet cards perfectly fit inside. The Magnet Cards are double-sided. One side is magnetic, the other a laminated material, allowing you to place dies on one side and the matching stamps on the other. It keeps them all in one spot and is still easy to find and remove whenever you want to use them.

Take it one step further and place the Magnet Card in a Storage Pocket. You can label the tab of each pocket so you can quickly flip through your stamps and dies, finding the perfect set for your cardmaking project.

Ink Pad Storage

If you have different stamp sets, then you need ink pads to go with them. There are so many brands of inks in a range of colors. They add a pop of color to any project. The BCO Portaink Standard Case and the Portaink Dual Swivel Traveler are great options for holding full-sized ink pads and refill bottles. The Standard size can hold up to 24 ink pads, and the Dual Swivel Traveler can hold up to 48 ink pads.

If you have a lot of mini ink pads, the Mini Ink Cube Holder fits inside a BCO Cabinet Drawer and can hold up to 64 mini ink cubes. If you prefer to keep your ink cubes on your desk or on a shelf, the Ink Cube Caddy is available in various sizes and is stackable to fit any ink cube collection.

Tool Storage

Scissors, cutters, trimmers, rulers, picks, blending brushes, pens, markers, paint brushes, glue, and more! There are so many different types of tools that are helpful when you are working on a scrapbook. Tools can easily clutter up your workspace or get buried at the bottom of a bag. It always seems like you can never find the right pen when you want to use it! Two amazing options for keeping those tools organized while you are crafting are our Tool Tray and Craft Caddy. The Tool Tray has a teal silicone insert that can hold some of your most-used tools.

Take your Tool Tray with you wherever you go. The Craft Caddy is slightly larger with a turntable base, and is designed to sit conveniently on your desk, keeping your crafting area tidy and your creative juices flowing.

Paper Storage

Paper is the base of any scrapbook or cardmaking project - you love and need it. It is fun to look at and fun to buy. But how do you keep it organized and protected? A great way to store your paper so it's visible and accessible is by using Paper Shelves in your BCO Cabinet. With different sizes available, you can choose the best option for your paper collection.

Single Desk Height Cabinet with Paper Shelves

The Paper Shelf is a great way to customize your Storage Cabinet! When installed, it rests at an angle and makes your patterned paper visible. The tabs on the front prevent the paper from sliding out, and the circular cutout makes it easy to quickly grab the sheets you want. You can organize your paper by color, theme, pattern, or brand. Organized paper is easier to sort through, but also looks lovely in your craft space.

Embellishment Storage

Embellishments on a scrapbook page are the icing on the cake. They are the finishing touch to your creative layout. There are no rules to what is considered an embellishment for a scrapbook. Usually, embellishments are tiny items like buttons, jewels, gems, ribbons, stickers, and other small trinkets. The Crafty Storage Jars are great options for storing those tiny, little embellishments. The Crafty Storage Jars come in a pack of eight and with twist-on lids. Add the Storage Jar Grid to help keep them organized. Place inside your Single Height Drawer in your BCO Cabinet for the ultimate storage solution.
