    Great System

Posted by Rosa Marte on 04 06 25

This was my first time ordering from this company. I am very pleased with the storage system. Installation was very easy and the package even came with a hand written note. I wish I ordered a bigger unit but I wasn’t sure what to expect. I will definitely order from this company again as my craft room evolves.

The cabinet is AWESOME! Got a single bar height cabinet with 10 large drawers. The cabinet and drawers were packed excellently and the assembly process was easy and quick.

Bar height Triple Column and Desk Height Single Column

Posted by Jennifer Brandt on 12 14 24

Can't deny it's an investment, but once you get it, you will ask yourself 'why didn't I do this sooner'. I didn't realize just how much wasted space I had. This is much better than the makeshift shelves on a folding table I had before. (I kept putting stuff down in the empty edge of the table and then when I needed the stuff behind it, I had to move 20 different things with no where to set them lol) Once I finish getting everything set up, I can't wait to get back to my hobby and be able to get to stuff and put it back easily and quickly. Ordering, delivery, and putting together: I ordered the bar height triple cabinet first as the online tool wasn't conducive to measuring out sections for shelving. But I was able to use the on-line tool in conjunction with counting the side holes in the space the shelves would be to determine what drawers were needed. (I used the 1 inch drawers to fill each column on the on-line tool for the number of holes I determined was needed for the shelf space, then added different combos of drawers to fill up the remainder of the space so I could see how many of each size would fit.) Delivery for both cabinets was quick and the boxes undamaged. The bar height triple column box weighed 70 lbs., so I had to break it down to carry the pieces upstairs. Upon putting the bar height triple column together, I realized I was missing some pieces and emailed the company that night. They had the needed pieces in the mail the next day. I was able to put it together by myself, but I would recommend having a second set of hands to be sure you don't accidentally break something, especially getting the upper sections in place. It wasn't until I got the replacement parts and finished putting the cabinet together that I realized they had sent the paper holders instead of the shelves (I wondered why they looked weird lol). But after getting the drawers in place, I considered it serendipitous as I now have a place to put the masking paper etcIi had stored in letter trays under the previous table. (The spaces between the legs of the new cabinet aren't wide enough to fit the letter trays.) Quality: The cabinets are made of laminated pressed wood. The side sections are the full depth of the cabinet and the back board fits between them and lock in place with the cam locks (i.e., the back isn't just a thin particle board tacked on to the back as used in typical DIY shelving/cabinets). The cabinet over all is pretty sturdy.  Conclusion: All in all, this was definitely worth the investment.  I spent well over $1K between the cabinets, the drawers, and the tray inserts, but being able to access my supplies and put them back easily is priceless. Your supplies are only as good as your ability to get them out and use them.

    Cabinets

Posted by Joi Kudirka on 12 03 24

BCO storage cabinets are WONDERFUL. They are more expensive than the plastic storage cabinets at Michaels, etc but totally worthy it. They are very sturdy and easily assembled. The largest drawers hold a lot of stuff. I bought a double counter height cabinet to store toys and a single bar height one to store jewelery and sewing tools. I received the cabinets 3 days after I ordered them - with an intervening holiday. The assembly instructions were easy to understand and the cabinets were easy to assemble. The double cabinet was a little harder to put together than the single cabinet because I had to hold 3 sides together at once. The hardest part was screwing the casters on which my husband helped with.. I put both cabinets together and inserted all 26 drawers while I watched 4 episodes of Kdrama. This means 4 hours but I had to pause to read subtitles and to redo some things because I didn't read the directions. After this, I immediately ordered 3 more cabinets. Just for reference, I am 72.

I didn't realize you had to buy the drawers separately from the cabinet. I like the cabinet and will probably order some drawers in the future.

    Single Storage Unit

    Posted by Denise M on 05 08 24

I like it. It is sturdy and surely won't topple over. I chose not to use the castors but saved them if I need them. I plan to use for card making and scrapbooking supplies. Drawers are solid plastic and won't crack or chip unless you are really rough with them I don't see that happening. I'm not the brightest light in the lamp but at 76 yrs even I was able to put everything together. I will purchase more at a later time. Thanks BCO.
