Connect the Cutting Machine Add-On to the top of any BCO Double Storage Cabinet and it becomes a Cutting Machine Cabinet. Already have a Double Cutting Machine Cabinet and need room for a second machine? The Add-On makes that possible too. It connects right to the cabinets you already own — no new furniture, no rearranging the room, and not a single drawer comes out.

Don't have a cabinet? The Stand-Alone option is a desk version that lets you slide your machine out when you're using it and back when you're not.

Both options use the same Slide-Out Machine Shelf that makes our Cutting Machine Cabinet work. Pull your machine forward when you're ready to create — extending it past the cabinet or desk so 12" mats roll through cleanly — then push it back inside when you're finished.

The Add-On stacks above your existing machine compartment
Run both machines without either one taking over your worksurface

Here's how it connects: remove the top from the cabinet you already own, set the Add-On in its place on top of the cabinet, then reinstall that same top on top of the Add-On, which means nothing inside the cabinet changes, no drawers come out, and your worksurface comes back exactly as it was, 10" higher.

Stand-Alone: use the top for tools or décor.

The top of the Stand-Alone is a flat, finished worksurface — a surface you didn't have before, stacked above your machine instead of beside it. Line up your tools, park a tray of blades and pens, set a small lamp, or use it for décor.

Made for the desk you already have.

Nothing to mount, nothing to drill, no permanent changes to your furniture. At 27¾" wide and 14⅜" deep, the Stand-Alone sits on any desk, craft island, table, or countertop — and it stays put on its own.

Both options share the same construction and finish as our cabinets — 3/4" thermofused melamine in white, so it looks at home next to the rest of your BCO furniture.

Common questions.

Which option should I choose?

If you already own a BCO Double Storage Cabinet or a Double Cutting Machine Cabinet, choose Add-On for Cabinet — it connects right to the top of what you have. If your machine lives on a desk, table, or countertop, or your cabinet isn't a Double, choose Stand-Alone for Desk.

Will the Add-On fit the cabinet I already own?

Only if it's a Double. At 27¾" wide the Add-On is built to Double-width dimensions, so it fits BCO Double Storage Cabinets and Double Cutting Machine Cabinets — it will not fit a Triple, and it won't fit other manufacturers' cabinets. If you're not sure which model you have, give us a call at 866-498-2378 and we'll help you identify it.

I have a Triple cabinet — can I still use the Add-On?

Not on the cabinet itself — the Add-On is made to Double width and won't span a Triple. The Stand-Alone option is the way to go instead: set it on a desk, table, or countertop nearby and you get the same slide-out shelf.

Do I have to give up any drawers?

No. The Add-On sits above the cabinet rather than inside it, so it doesn't use any slots and nothing has to come out. Every drawer, paper shelf, and adjustable shelf you already have keeps working exactly as it did.

Will it make my cabinet taller?

Yes — it adds 10" to the finished height. That's worth knowing if your cabinet currently sits flush beside other BCO furniture, because the worksurfaces will no longer line up. A Counter height cabinet becomes 44¼" tall and a Bar height becomes 51¾" — check those against your setup before you order.

Will my cutting machine fit?

The machine compartment is 26" wide × 8" tall on both options, so any cutting machine under 26" long and 7" tall will fit comfortably — including the Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, Silhouette Cameo, Brother ScanNCut, and Siser Juliet. The 1" of headroom keeps the slide action smooth. It's sized by dimension rather than brand, so a Cricut in one shelf and a Silhouette in the other works fine.

How much desk space does the Stand-Alone need?

It takes up 27¾" × 14⅜" of desk surface and stands 10¾" tall.

Should I buy this or a whole new cabinet?

If you already own a Double cabinet, the Add-On is the cheaper and simpler path — you keep all your storage and just gain a machine spot. If you're starting from nothing or want two machines plus a full drawer configuration in one purchase, look at the Multi-Cutting Machine Cabinet.

Does it require assembly?

Yes, and it's a short one either way — considerably quicker than a full cabinet. If you chose the Add-On, you'll also remove and reinstall your existing cabinet top as part of the install, so it helps to have a second pair of hands.
